The Placement Cell

The Training & Placement Cell plays a pivotal role in counseling and guiding the students for their successful career placement. The cell ensures that all eligible students are given an opportunity to mark their presence in the industry. The cell aims to provide 100% placement assistance to our students. It consists of the placement coordinator and student placement representatives from each department.

Training Programs

The Cell organizes Professional Development programs like mock interviews, group discussions, pre-placement talks, interactive sessions with industrial experts, industrial visits, case studies etc. and personality development programs covering communication skills, presentation skills, career planning etc., on a regular basis to enable the students to acquire the necessary traits to become useful to industries.

Soft Skill Development Training Programs

Soft Skill development is included with the regular academic programs. This is headed by the Placement Officer who is assisted by faculty and student representatives from all departments. As a part of it, job oriented courses, special training programs, aptitude tests and group discussions are held periodically. This enables our students to gain a competitive edge in the recruitment process, groom their confidence and develop their personality.



Facilities for Recruiters

The Training and Placement Cell offers the following value added services to simplify the campus recruitment process for the employers

TCS Digital Assessment

Our campus uses TCS Digital Assessment Solution (TCS iON) for Enterprise Resource Planning and for Campus Management System TCS iON can be used by the recruiters for conducting online / offline Aptitude / Technical tests and filtering of students can be done saving much time. These tests can also be conducted remotely without the physical presence of the recruiters at the college

Internal/External Experts

To simplify the recruitment process we can provide experts from reputed institutions to conduct Group Discussion (GD) and Technical HR Interviews. This will be helpful for reducing the number of recruiters

Infrastructure Facilities

College can offer infrastructure such as Air- conditioned Auditorium, Seminar Halls, Class Room etc as well as PA systems, Computers Wi-Fi connection etc for conducting recruitment. We have immense pride to have hosted several pooled campus drives

Manpower Assistance

We have an excellent NSS cell working in the college and can provide student and staff volunteers to assist the placement process

Computer Centre

In addition to the Computer Centre, we have a number of computer labs with internet which can accommodate more than 200 students at a time for the smooth conduct of exams

Accessibility and Transportation

Our College is hardly 200 Meters away from the state highway, making it easily accessible. Pickup & Drop to the railway station or bus station can also be arranged by Placement cell

Food and Accommodation

Food and Accommodation Separate hostel facilities for both boys and girls are provided in the college premises. The recruiters can avail the college guest house facility that provides food with a hygienic atmosphere. Accommodation can also be arranged for recruiters outside the campus

Pooled Drives

We have excellent networking with counterparts in the nearby districts, and can offer pooled drives with the students from the nearby colleges at a short notice
