Teacher’s Day Celebration – 05/09/19
Teacher’s day was celebrated by NSS Volunteers by conducting different programme for the teachers. Volunteers gifted pen and cards to the teachers.
Blood Donation – 20/09/19
The blood donation camp was conducted by NSS volunteers of the college with the help District blood bank of Palakkad. The maximum student’s participation made the event successful. The college chairman and principal engaged on the event with maximum support. About 150+ students registered for donating blood. Around 50+ students made a donation rest of them were not physically fit for donating blood
Leprosy Survey – 24/09/19 – 30/09/19
Leprosy survey was conducted by NSS volunteers in different wards of Mankara panchayath. The survey is conducted as a part of health department to create awareness about the leprosy disease and its precautions.
VOLUNTEERING FOR MOCK INTERVIEW – 24/10/19-26/10/19
The volunteers helped for the smooth conduct of mock placement at the college. The placement drive was scheduled for different branches on different days. The volunteers had taken a great effort in coordinating and making arrangements for the different rounds. During the three day program volunteers were divided into different groups and assigned charges on different days.
Road safety – 11/1/2020-13/1/2020
A group of NSS volunteers participated in conducting an awareness on 11/01/2020.The volunteers highlighted the importance of road safety and necessity of being obedient to traffic rules . The awareness program was conducted in pathiripala, mankara roads . A mime conducted by the NSS volunteers regarding road safety
Collection Box – 29/01/2020 – 04/02/2020
The NSS volunteers of our college kept a collection box in each department for one week which was for collecting cloths for a tribal area named Attakkatti. Also we gave an idea to the people surrounding the college so they too helped with what they have.
Awareness programme – 2/02/2020
The NSS volunteers of our college had given a awareness survey class regarding the harmful effect of using plastic in our day to day life and made them aware more about plastic by giving them a paper bag to each of the houses.
7 DAY SPECIAL CAMP – 19/03/2021-25/03/2021
7 day special camp ‘YUGAM 2021’ was conducted at college for 3 days offline and 4 days online. Near 45 volunteers attended the camp. The project o the camp was to clean college and surroundings. The volunteers successfully completed the project and rest 4 days where in online, were they had orientation based on volunteering, skills, more opportunities etc. They enjoyed the camp with team work, games and cultural.
