What you will study reflects the wide diversity of communication and data transmission technologies which we all accept as a vital part of our everyday lives from traditional radio, telegraphy and microwave systems to the state of the art optical, satellite and cellular (mobile) communication systems. Electronic Engineers and Technicians undertake the design, implementation and manufacture of a wide variety of sophisticated electronic and communication technologies. The demand for electronic engineers and technicians is very high and jobs are almost the highest paid in the engineering sector.
RIST’s Electronics & Communication Engineering department exists ever since the inception of the college in the year 2010. The department helps students to enhance their knowledge and skills which they can apply in their professional life. In addition, students are well prepared to accept challenges of the domain. Successfully completing the B.Tech in Electronics & Communication Engineering program equips students for a career or pursuing a higher degree or research.

Welcome to the department of Electronics & Communication Engineering at Rajadhani Institute of Science and Technology ,Palakkad,Kerala. Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) is one of the largest and fastest growing fields of Engineering. The Scope is very wide open because the world is moving in the field of technology and developments. It has scope in almost every industry as every industry deals with electronics and computers.
The process of learning is extremely important in life. What you learn, how you learn and where you learn, play a crucial role in developing one’s intellectual capability, besides career. The greatest asset of the department is it’s highly motivated qualified and experienced faculty. The department strives to provide a conducive environment for the students to develop analytical and practical skills and apply them to real world problems through industrial visits, in-plant trainings and national-level conferences and workshops, and exposure to state-of-the-art software and hardware. The department has a vibrant IEEE student chapter which help students gain confidence and become skilled engineering professionals. In addition to classroom teaching, the students are guided and motivated to practically implement the principles learnt in classrooms through experimentations in the laboratories and through innovation centres on Robotics and Internet of Things.
The department has consistently maintained an exemplary academic record over the years Having undergone such a robust academic Programme under the supervision of highest quality faculty members, I am sure that all passing out students of the department are capable of visualising, planning and developing big projects of commercial and research interests in their respective field of expertise.
